Reserve Officers Training Corps
program at Ball State University
where he received his B. S.

Colonel Studer, a transport
pilot, is a member of the Pacific
Air Forces.
Before his arrival in Vietnam,
he was assigned to United States
Naval War College, Newport,
Rode Island.
The colonel, a 1940 graduate
of Our Lady High School, Chesan-ing,
Mich., has studied at Central
Michigan University at Mount
Pleasant. He was commissioned
in 1946 upon graduation from the
U. S. Military Academy where he
also received a B. S. degree in

Yule Luncheon
The annual Christmas luncheon
for members of The Massapequa
Park Chapter of the
Nassau County Homemakers
Council will be held on Thursday,
December 7, at 12: 00 noon,
St. David's Lutheran Church.
The luncheon consists of favorite
main dishes, salads and
desserts made by the members
of the Chapter.
The installation of officers will
take place following the luncheon.

The St. David's Flayers from

Snow White and The Seven Giants

R. J. Lockhart School. Curtain

A free will offering will be taken.
Open House For Camp Fire Girls
The Southeast district of the
Nassau County Camp Fire Girls
will hold its second annual Open
House on Saturday, December 9th
at Village Hall on Front Street,
Massapequa Park from 11 a. m.,
to 3 p. m.
Hand- made articles from 37
groups that will be participating
will be on display. Many of them
in keeping with the Christmas
and Channkah season.
Entertainment will be offered
by the Camp Fire Girls who have
prepared a fairy story play,
movies and a wishing well. Santa
Claus will be on hand with some
of his helpers.

Election of officers will be held
by the Citizens Association of
Massapequa Park on Tuesday,
December 5 at 8: 30 at the Hawthorn
School.
A guest speaker will discuss
the anti- smut campaign.

invites the submission of sealed
bids for the following items:

Assistant Superintendent of
Schools, located at the Board of
Education Building, Hicksville
Road, South of Hempstead Turnpike,
Bethpage, New York. Sealed
bids will be received at this
office not later than 2 P. M.
December 7th, 1967 at which time
they shall be opened and read
publicly. The Board of Education
reserves the right to waive
any informalities or to reject
any or all bids or to accept
that bid or any single item from
any bid which in its judgment
is for the best interest of the
School District.
All bids shall be firm and
acceptable for 45 days after the
formal opening thereof, no bids
shall be withdrawn pending the
decision of the Board.
