Tony Dee Revolutionizes The Barber Profession With Men's Hairstyling
Tony Dee, Farmingdale's own resident has been making
feature news with his Men's Hairstyling Shop at 716, Route
110, Melville, on the Huntington Station Border.
Here is some interesting before and after shots when Robert,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard H. Kornheiser of 45 Woodland
Ave. Farmingdale received a hair styling which consisted of hair
cutting, shampooing and setting. The young man was a little
embarrassed, but the results were so gratifying that he's going
back to Tony Dee's rather than to the neighborhood barber's.
Men of all ages have been going from Farmingdale from Massa-pequa
and coming from as far away as Montauk Point, and one
even from Texas to Tony Dee for hairstyling. His beautifully
interior decorated salon includes an executive lounge. Pictured
is Richard Burton. Yes, you read it right, Richard Burton
comes to Tony Dee's. Well he happens to live in New Hyde Park,
but it could have been Elizabeth Taylor's husband, because many
famous people come to Tony Dee's. The middle gentleman is
Dennis Gothoff of Patchogue and the third is an unidentified
gentleman from Huntington. The story of how Tony got into
this fabulous business and what he is doing will be told in a
future issue of The Observer.
