Adaptation to environment has
greatly affected man's physical
appearance. The color of
the eye changes in different
regions due to incidence of
ultra - violet light. Generally
speaking, the darker- skinned
people living in intensely illuminated
areas have dark
eyes, while the eyes of those
living under grey and cloudy
skies are lighter. The three
major types of eye color are
brown, mixed, and light. However,
there are also the black,
found in racial tvpes of the
blackest skins, and the very
pale eyes of the albinos.
Brown eyes are most common
and are characteristic
of all non- white races and
some whites as well. Other
whites have blue or grey eyes
or the " mixed" shades of
green.
It is interesting to note things
