Big Brother Movement
The Farmingdale Squires will
conduct a Benefit Car Wash this
Saturday August 17 between the
hours of 10 a. m. and 3 p. m. in
the K of C parking lot on Morton
Proceeds will be directed to
the Big Brother program conducted
for the benefit of the
boys of St Mary's Orphanage
There will be a $ 1.00 charge
for a car washing.

Mary Vogel Passes Away
After Prolonged Illness
Mary Vogel, of 21 SunsetAve.,
South Farmingdale passed away
last Friday, after an illness which
lasted several months. She is
survived by her husband, Martin
daughters, Priscilla and Patricia;
a sister, Katherine; and
three brothers, Francis, John
and Bernard Skelly.

Monday, at the McCourt and

Center, Plalnview. Police are investigating the incident which

series of Teen Dances on Friday
August 16, in the Knights of Columbus
Hall, located on Morton
The event will be supervised
by a committee headed by Joseph
Magliato, Youth Activities
Chairman of the Farmingdale
Council, Knights of Columbus.
Live music will be provided
for dancing which will begin at
8 p. m. Admission is .75 cents
and all teenagers are welcome.
