SPECIAL SERVICES SET
FOR EASTER. PASSOVER
Special services have been scheduled by local churches on
Sunday marking the observance of Easter.
St. Kilian's Roman Catholic Church has scheduled Masses for
6: 30; 8: 15; 9: 45; 11: 15 and 12: 40 in the church and in the school
hall at 6: 30; 8: 15; 9: 45; a Solemn High Mass at 11 and a service
at 12: 40 p. m. Services at the church crypt will be held at 8: 15;
9: 45 and 11: 15 a. m.
St Thomas Episcopal church will hold a Low Mass at 6 and
7: 30 a. m.; Solemn Masses at 9 and 10: 45 a. m. ana i i^ v* Mass
at 12: 30 p. m.
The Farmingdale Methodist Church will conduct services at
8 a. m.; 9: 30 a. m.; and 11 a. m.
St. Luke's Lutheran Church will hold Easter morning services
at 8 a. m.; 9: 30 a. m. and 11 a. m.
Farmingdale Baptist Church will hold a Sunday School service
at 9: 45 a. m. to be followed by morning worship at l l : u u a. m.
The Presbyterian Church of Massapequa Sunday's schedule
calls for services at 8 a. m.; 9: 30 and 11 a. m.
The First Church of Christ Scientist, Massapequa will hold
services at 9: 30 and 11: 15 a. m.
Out Lady of Lourdes R. C. Church in Massapequa Park will
usher in Easter with Midnight, 7: 00 a. m.; 8: 00, 9: 00, 10, 11, 1
and 5 p. m. Masses.

Diocese of the Reman Catholic Church will sponsor a 5 a. m. E-cumenical
Easter Dawn service at Salisbury Park, East Meadow.
The Farmingdale Jewish Center will usher in Passover on
Friday evening at sunset with an evening service scheduled for
6 p. m., followed by a 9: 30a. m. and6 p. m. Saturday services. A
9: 30 a. m. services will also be held on Sunday. The Holy Days
known as Pesach will end on Saturday, April 20 after the 7: 15
p. m. service.
Youth Board Appoints
Ronald Feldman To Staff
Jerry Marcus, Executive Director
of the Farmingdale Youth
Board, announced the appointment
of Ronald Feldman as a
part- time staff member, whose
primary job will be to make a
survey to ascertain what youth
needs exist. The report will
serve as a preliminary step to
the possible development of a
Youth Center in Farmingdale.
A graduate of the University of
Toledo, Feldman has been a
social worker with the juvenile
court of Toledo, Ohio, and he
has worked with the Lucas County
Family Court. He was also
employed by the South Oaks Psychiatric
Hospital as a psychiatric
counselor, and is currently
a teacher and coach in the Hicks-ville
i* ublic Schools.
The Youth Board is also planning
programs related to Narcotics,
Drug Abuse, Alcohol and
Tobacco.
The Youth Board is financed

will feature Richard B. Holz-man,
a former member of the
Peace Corps, as the speaker
at the Wednesday, April 24, meeting
at 8: 15 p. m.
Holiman, a graduate of Farmingdale,
High School, and later
j Social Studies teacher in the
school district, served as a volunteer
in the Philippines from
1961 to 1963.
A film " Mission of Discovery"
will also be shown at the mret-ing.
Coffee, tea, and refreshments
will be served.
