RECREATION VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Freeport Superintendent of Recreation Richard Hanak reported that his de-partment
would welcome the services of volunteers who are interested in contributing
some time towards a happy and eventful summer for Freeport youth.
If you feel you are qualified, through past experience or interests, to work with
youngsters in any of the recreation programs, please contact Mr. Hanak at FR 8-4000.
Volunteers will assist the professional recreation staff members, particularly in
the new evening activities at the junior and senior high schools.
Two of the popular Freeport Recreation activities are illustrated here. Guitar
Instructor Frank Matte gets a group together for a string session. Modern Dance In-structor
Eva Anderson shows some enthusiastic followers a new dance routine.
