MUSIC UNDER THE STARS - For the entire" family. Freeport Fire- Department
Band. Begin at 8:00 PM. Bring folding chairs. At Northeast Park Friday,
August 8th. At Randall Park Friday, August 22nd.
SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL - Spectator sport. Played most Sunday and Monday
evenings at the Municipal'Stadium, some Wednesdays, 7:30 PM. Call
TN 8-0360 after k PM for information.
SHOWMOBILE - For the entire family. From 8:30 to 10:30 PM. At Randall
Park August Uth, Northeast Park July l8th, Northwest Park August 6th.
ADDITIONAL ADULT PROGRAMS
TENNIS - Northeast Park, Wednesdays,.9 AM to Noon. PHYSICAL FITNESS -
at Northeast Park, Mondays, 10 - 11 AM. .SENIOR CITIZENS - For ages
55 and up. At the Community Center, Mondays 10 AM to l± PM, Arts and
Crafts 10AM to Noon, Trips leave at 1:15 PM.
TEENS EVENING RECREATION PROGRAM
June 30th Until August 15th - 7:00 to 10:00 PM
At Freeport High School
For junior and senior high school students. A program of indoor
and outdoor (daylight permitting) activities Mondays through Fri-days.
General activities consist of volleyball, basketball, bad-minton
and-Judo .for boys and girls. For Boys_,0nly:;_w.e.ight ^training,
wrestling, gymnastics, touch football, track and box lacrosse.

Thursdays 7 to 8:30. Guitar on Thursdays 8:30 to 10. Woodwork.on
Wednesdays 7 to 8:30. Ceramics on Wednesdays 8:30 to 10. Lounge
Monday through Friday, with ping pong, pool, skittles, music, etc.
At Dodd Jr. High School
For junior and senior high students. The gymnasium will be open
for a full athletic program with male and female supervision..
At The Community Center
For jr. and sr. high students. Lounge 7 to 10, Monday thru .Friday.
Also Crafts, Afro-Modern Dance, transportation to Judo program.

SUMMER PARKS PROGRAM - Monday Through Friday ^ 9:.00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
(Outdoor park programs will be cancelled in the event of rain. Pro-grams
will be resumed at noon if weather clears. For further informa-tion
call TN 8-0360).
A special program for youngsters between the ages of Ij. and 8 will
begin this summer. These youngsters have not been included in prior
programs, and due to the need for extensive supervision their hours
are limited from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. The older children, age 9 and up,
will have programs of loose organization during the morning hours and
a number of the more formal programs which are listed in the center'
pages.
Recreation programs are free except when a fee is necessary to offset
unusual expenses, and these fees are specified in each case. Each park
day is planned with numerous activities, including daily high lights
listed below. This is by no means the complete program but the daily
high lights only. More detailed printed information is available at
the parks, or call the Village Recreation Department at 378-14.000.
